VISIlink allows you to automatically
visually identify links, associations and networks from various sources
including, text files, database tables, spreadsheets, and VISIcais.
Built upon Microsoft®
Visio® - the industry standard for diagramming and charting - VISIlink
provides you with analysis functions specifically defined for the
investigative environment. It helps you define and document the complexities of
investigation or intelligence information, and effectively share your ideas and
information with others.
When you incorporate VISIlink
charts and diagrams into your reports and briefings, your
message becomes more concise, people are more likely to remember main points,
and barriers to understanding are more easily overcome.
You can distribute VISIlink
charts to team members, partners, other departments, and
organizations - free. The Microsoft Visio® Viewer 2002 allows anyone to view
charts, drawings, and diagrams inside their Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later Web browser.
Should recipients be
unwilling or unable to load the free viewer, you can "save charts as web
pages" and publish them automatically to your web site. Whether your drawing contains a single page or multiple pages, an HTML frames page and a frame for the drawing
pages can be created. It also creates HTML source code and adds page tabs to each page so that you can switch between pages.

VISIlink
builds on the Visio® standard allowing you to
benefit from the diagramming and charting standard using a single, customizable
diagramming program that can be deployed across the organization. The familiar
Microsoft Office environment makes VISIlink easy
to learn and use. You don’t need drawing expertise to create professional
looking link analysis charts and you can assemble diagrams quickly and easily by
dragging pre-defined law enforcement, intelligence, and investigation specific
icons or SmartShapes® symbols from stencils onto the drawing page.
Built-in borders, backgrounds, and color schemes help you add a professional
look to your diagrams. Easily share diagrams by copying them into Office
documents or saving them as detailed Web pages.
