VISIcais
LE
As investigators gain access to more
and more data, the problem of handling it grows. VISIcais
LE was designed to handle case intelligence information in
one comprehensive system and can be implemented as a national, local, or
single user system.
VISIcais LE has a modular design that enables you to "pick and choose"
modules relevant to requirements. Information need only be entered or
gathered once, but can be linked many times. Our floating
window concept provides easy lookup and access and enhances the
productivity and efficiency of the investigator or user. The ability to
view, sort, and filter lists of data saves repetitive input and erases
data reliability problems that plague other investigation systems.
Current Modules include (click on header
to view the full list):
- Modules
- Investigation / Case / Project Management
- Incident / Occurrence Management
- People Management (including personal details, physical description, address
history, and communication means - telephone, pager, fax, email)
- Organization
Management (including subsidiaries, and satellite locations)
- Vehicle Management
- Interview Management
- Analysis Management (Link and Geographic)
- User Management
- Security / Access Management
- Reports Management
- Counterfeits Management
- Seizures Management
- Firearms Management
- Losses Management
- Course and Skills Management
Each user/investigator can have a local copy of VISIcais
installed on his/her laptop. VISIcais
can be used for local/individual management of data which
can be replicated to a master database to be located on a networked
server. Local and master searches can be performed on any field within the
database. Due to the modular design, VISIcais
can be modified quickly to
meet the specifics of any organization.
Using VISIcais
creates
a single point of data entry, designed to meet user needs. Click on header

manager, analysts, and investigators.
- Solves the problems of:
- Separate databases forcing users to learn different systems,
and wastes time switching computers;
- Data keeps pouring in with no comprehensive system manages it;
- Analysts and investigators waste time trying to find information instead of
utilizing it;
- Backing up multiple systems is time consuming and difficult.
- Advanced design features:
- Simple to use graphical interface, using buttons, pick-lists, drop-down
lists;
- The ability to link multiple pieces of information with a single click of the mouse;
- Floating form based windows designed to capture information quickly without jumping from window to window.
- Benefits for Managers include:
- Assured storage of all data - nothing gets lost;
- Training time is minimal - little loss of time doing actual
investigation and analysis;
- Centralized
system that is easy to backup and requires no special hardware or
software;
- Project
management features are already built in.
- Benefits for Analysts and Investigators include:
- Access to information from anywhere on and off the network;
- Easy to find information through simple lookup and query screens;
- Simple design means a short learning curve;
- Get to the information quickly;
- Easy to use - comprehensive help system.
VISIcais
allows data
synchronization that can be accomplished
by dial up, network or via the Internet depending on the type of
communications chosen.
VISIcais
is fully integrated with VISIquery VISIlink and
VISImap data analysis and
visualization tools. The data visualization tools can be those supplied by
Paisley or connected to external programs that may already be in
operation in an organization.
