Insurance body expands
VISIcais and VISIlink
use throughout Canada.
Oakville, ON., February 2003 - Paisley Systems Inc.,
the developer of the
VISIcais products for case &
investigation management and visual analysis, is pleased to announce the
expansion of their
VISIcais installation in the Insurance Bureau of Canada -
Investigative Services Division (IBC - ISD). The expansion of the state of
the art fraud investigation and analysis capabilities to cover the whole of
Canada provides confirmation of the flexibility and scalability of the Paisley
Solutions.
The expanded
VISIcais installation
will be based on Oracle and will integrate fully with the IBC's Enterprise
Repository. The
VISIcais query tool - VISIquery - will be upgraded to
allow investigators to query all IBC databases to further identify linkages and
associations to ring activity between open claims and the investigative files in
VISIcais.
"We are very excited about this
expansion" said Matthew McAndrew, President of Paisley Systems. "We
have worked very hard with the IBC to ensure that
VISIcais meets the demanding
investigative requirements of the ISD. This confirms the design objectives of
VISIcais to provide flexible and scalable solutions to manage individual incidents or
large-scale investigations".
VISIcais
enables investigative teams to work together or
individual investigators to manage their own case. With
VISIcais
not only can
you manage case information, you build an intelligence resource that includes
all types of data including text, documents, and multimedia.
